So sad to hear of Paul's passing. Time and life goes so quickly and we think we have all the time in the world then terrible illness takes that away. Please know that my heart is with you. I did not know Paul, but hear many wonderful things about him. May you be blessed with comfort from family and friends at this sad time in your life. God Bless You. - Sheila.

To the Smith Family: We are so sorry to hear about Paul's passing. He was a interesting guy to be around, crazy funny at times, but always caring about his family and the Beverly-Waterford community. His service to the area will be remembered for years to come. RIP

To the Paul Smith family ...
I was deeply saddened to learn of "Coach Smith's" passing. I have so many great memories of him from being our per wee football head coach in the 1970s. I'll never forget the grueling conditioning drills that he put us through. I don't think he liked it when I laughed during "leg lifts". He was obviously a good coach since we were undefeated during multiple seasons playing those big teams in Morgan County. Throughout the rest of his life, whenever I saw Coach Smith, I always received a big, warm greeting and a smile. I will really miss that. Please know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Jim

We were neighbors in Waterford and grew up together playing baseball and basketball. When he transferred to Fort Frye HS he did his best to get me to go along with him but I held my ground. I knew if I transferred I'd lose a year of playing basketball. Otherwise I might have followed him across the river. I have a lot of fun memories. Sorry for your loss.

Camilla and family,
We are so sorry to hear about Paul. We had some good times with Paul, me at Globe and Larry at the village office. He would come to my office and tell me that he probably fired Larry two or three times a day. But I think they respected each other. Our condolences to you and all the family

I remember when Paul volunteered at the golf course, he was always full of spunk and doing something to keep everyone smiling. He was always a good man to me and treated me like I was family. I will have fond memories of him always. So very sorry for your loss Camilla. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
