Dear Lynny and Jacob, and all of John's loved ones.
I feel so sorry for you for the pain you are suffering. Words seem so inadequate, but in lieu of hugs, The Word of God states: Proverbs 25:11. WORDS FITLY SPOKEN ARE LIKE APPLES OF GOLD IN BASKETS OF SILVER. I believe this is what Jesus has to say about John.
There is an empty chair at the family table. There is now a son without a father. There is no familiar voice to be heard. There is the sound of his footsteps echoing away. The master has left his pet's unconditional love. One less fan to cheer the Ohio State Buckeyes on. And the golf course looks beyond the green and cries John! Where is John? John! John!
There is now the sound of footsteps approaching., and his ears are hearing a crowd greeting. him. There are familiar voices calling out his name. John! John! Here you are! There is the glad cry of a child not known here, running to John's arms singing ' Father !
Father!'
And there stands Jesus saying, 'John, welcome Home My son. Here, sit, I have saved a chair for you at My table.'

I can remember John for as long as i can remember. I remember a kind man, sometimes quiet, but with a great sense of humor. Some of my earliest memories are of him giving me pointers on the pool table and later beating everyone. Trophies even. Rest in peace my friend. You will be truly missed.
