I am so sorry for the Sparling family's precious loss of Bess. She loved meeting people and making new friends. Her farming was her passion. She loved to chat. Her grandchildren were like beautiful precious diamonds to her. also her children.
She is now joined with her precious sweetheart Donnie. My heart and prayers for all her beloved family as they move through this time in life.

Aunt Bess, I know how much the family will miss you. It is so very hard to lose someone so special. Pete and Wendy, hold your precious memories of your mom very close to your heart, they will help get you through the next few days and weeks to come.
Aunt Bess, you were always so giving to anyone who needed help. You were such a caring person.
We always knew when we came to your house that dad had called and there would be homemade pies, specially made for your baby brother Lon. You, dad, Russ, Jess, June, and Marge are all now in heaven with Grandma, reuniting as a family. Love and prayers for all the family left behind.

Bessie Sparling----what a sweetheart!!! This beautifully written obituary can't begin to describe this fine lady!!! What a joy to have known her!
There is a song that says, in part, "It's not what you take when you leave this world behind you; it's what you leave behind you when you go." Bessie left so much to so many. Thank you, Bessie, for the memories.

Just a quick note to tell you that this obituary reminded me of my grandmother and many dear memories of her as we grew up. Reading this special obituary made me cry and know there are others in this world who give more than they ever know.
The most important was their LOVE.
I know this special woman will be missed dearly. As the years pass you will never forget her or what she taught you. She will always be in your heart, mind, and soul. Live your lives and hope that you can give as much to your family and friends as she gave to each of you. Just remember you were blessed to have her and now she is back "home" with the rest of the Angels.........

I am so sad to hear of Bessie's passing. My father, Larry Keiffer, talked about and loved Donny and Bessie continuously. He always reminded me it they gave him his 1st job and actually one of his last. My dad was so proud to spend time with "driving" Donny around on the farm during some of my dads last days. He loved these two with all of his heart and more respect and admiration for them than anyone else he knew. They will be greatly missed by so so many for a very very long time. My heart goes out to this wonderful family. With Love, Missy Harper-Larned

Bessie was one of the first people I met when I moved to the Beverly/Waterford area almost 19 yrs ago. She was there to offer suggestions and help in getting my yearly supplies of flowers and offered the best fresh vegetables in the area.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, the family and all those that loved and cared for Bessie, during this difficult time. Please know that Bessie made my move to a small town a less scary place and for that I will be eternally grateful.
