William “Will” L. Kegley, 72, of Vincent, Ohio, died on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on December 8, 1949 in Danville, Virginia, son of Edgar Lee Kegley Sr. and Josie B. Boswell Kegley. Will graduated from Fort Frye High School in 1968 and excelled in football and baseball and was selected First Team all Ohio in Football. He loved all sports and especially golf in his later years. He was a member of the Barlow Presbyterian Church, Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge # 37 F& AM and the Marietta York Rites. He was married on March 18, 1972 to Sharon Bohl Kegley who survives. He is also survived by three children, Michelle Brown (Mark) of Mesa Arizona, Shane Kegley (Amy) of Vincent and Joshua Kegley (Melinda) of Louisa, Virginia; seven grandchildren, Ashton Hundley, William Kegley, Jillian Kegley, Josie Kegley, Raegan Kegley, Nevaeh Kegley and Anthony Baughman; three great grandchildren, Atticus Baughman, Miabella Hundley and Uriah Hundley; a brother, Edgar “Pete” Kegley (Gisela) of Beverly and a sister, Nellie K. Daum of Largo, Florida; his special pet Bo and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Josie Madeline Kegley.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at the Barlow Presbyterian Church with Pastor Rick Hastings officiating. Burial will be in the Barlow Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before the service. A Masonic service will also be held at the church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Barlow Presbyterian Church, P.O.
