William Albert Huck, 86 of Marietta, Ohio, died on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on August 6, 1936 in Beverly, Ohio, son of Anthony A. and Ethel R. Haines Huck. He graduated from Beverly High School and worked in construction and was business manager of Farm Silo Company and other construction work, retiring in December of 2002. He was a member of The Bascilica of St. Mary of the Assumption and the Elks Lodge in Marietta. He loved gardening and was always working in his yard. He also loved tinkering and could fix anything inside the house or outside the house. He was married on November 17, 1962 to Anna Jean Offenberger. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Brenda Betts of Marietta; two granddaughters, Megan Murphy (Nicolas) of Marietta and Makenzie Bigley (Joseph) of Marietta; seven great grandchildren, Rosella Murphy, Thai Bigley, Jaxon Bigley (Brianna), Jet Bigley, Kalis Bigley, Desh Bigley and Gage Stengel. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Beverly with Monsignor Michael Campbell and Father Timothy Kozak officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm on Monday at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly. A Rosary Service will also be held at 7:30 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
