Wayne Elmer Pugh, age 79 of Stockport, Ohio, passed away on September 13, 2024 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born June 19, 1945 to the late Ray and Ruth Hughes Pugh. He graduated from Waterford High School class of 1964 and was a proud Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Wayne retired from Globe Metallurgical after 37 years of service. He spent his free time raising cattle on the family farm and loved spending time on them old Farmall H tractors. He didn’t know a stranger and was always willing to lend a hand when he could. He was a hard working man and was proud of many things, but his biggest pride in life were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his two children, Jeff (Melissa) Pugh and Darla (Todd) Lashley as well as his grandchildren, Niasca McGee, Kelsey (Jason) Schaad, Breanna (Elizabeth) Blind, Joe (Taylor) Pugh, Brittany (Kris) Blind, Bethany Lashley; great-grandchildren Sophia, Caden, Isabella, Maggy, Elizabeth, Lottie, Arianna, Raelynn, Amiyah and Charlotte; He is also survived by the mother of his children, Brenda Kidder; special friend Janet Hasty; and a sister Delores Reitz. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brothers Dean Pugh and Dale Pugh.
