Virginia E. Sadler

     Virginia E. Sadler, 89, of Waterford, Ohio, died on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Waterview Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation in Marietta, Ohio. She was born May 27, 1933 in Parkersburg, WV, daughter of James Herbert and Rhoda Lowe McIntire. She graduated from Vincent High School in 1951 and assisted her husband Sam as secretary treasurer of Sadler Electric for many years. She was a member of the Waterford United Methodist Church and was a founding member of the Beverly-Waterford Rescue Squad serving as one of the first paramedics in the area. She was also a founding member of the Pioneer Motorcycle Club and a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association. She was married on June 24, 1951 to William “Sam” Delmur Sadler, who died on January 12, 2021. She is survived by two daughters, Debra (Mike) Stocky of Watertown, Ohio and Sandra (Jon) Bules of Devola; three grandchildren, Sienna Stocky, Ian Bules and Tyler Bules (Misaki); and four great grandchildren; a brother, Jim McIntire (Donna) of Baltimore, Ohio and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a brother, Kenneth Ray McIntire; three sisters, Dorothy Pugh, Naomi Anderson and Juanita Foreman; and a brother in law, John Sadler.

     Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until 1:30 pm on Sunday.
