Tammy K. Jackson, 62, 0f Waterford, Ohio, died on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on June 25, 1962 in Marietta, Ohio, daughter of Paul Smith and Sandra Emory Wheeter. She graduated from Fort Frye High School in 1980 and worked at Savemore in Beverly for several years, had been a cook and a bus driver for Wolf Creek School District and most recently worked at Jukebox Pizza in Waterford. Tammy loved to cook and sometimes cooked for an army of friends and family. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren and enjoyed all their activities through the years. Tammy was a mother to many and always made an impact on all the people that she knew. She is survived by two daughters, Jeconda Arnold and husband Josh and Savannah Meek; four grandchildren, Ryleigh, Brystal, Sawyer and Sutton; her mother, Sandra Wheeter; step mother, Camilla Smith; two brothers, Steve Smith and wife Jessica and Jeff Smith and wife Summer; brother in law, Allen Tilton; a lifelong aunt and friend, Vickie Smith and her siblings, Bo Branham, Pam Jackson, Bay Branham, Greg Branham, Cindy Snyder and Kathy Nibert; and several nieces, nephews and many other family members that all loved her. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Smith; a sister, Tina Tilton; Louise Pennock; grandparents, Lester and Eleanor Smith, grandma Alta Loar and Papaw and Mamaw Branham.
Funeral services for Tammy will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with Steve Wainwright officiating. Friends may call 1-3 pm and 5-8 pm on Friday. The burial will be in the Waterford Cemetery. Donations may be made to Amedisys Hospice and online condolences may be made by visiting www.mccurdyfh.com.
