Ruth Anna White

Ruth Anna White, 85, of Cutler, Ohio, died on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV. She was born on October 19, 1939 in Waterford, Ohio, daughter of Ernest and Laura Viola Mitchem Needs. Ruth graduated from Waterford High School in 1957 and was a homemaker to her children and grandchildren most of her life. On June 24, 1957 she was married to Gerald L. “Jerry” White who died on July 10, 2000. She is survived by three daughters, Sherry Elder and husband Michael of Williamstown, WV, Maria Asimos and husband Nick of Myrtle Beach, SC and Rebecca Kraynak of West Chester, Ohio; one son, Timothy Allan White and wife Astrid of Monticello, KY; fifteen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren; three sisters, Lillian Holmes of Troy, Ohio, Leah Hughes (Paul Cameron) of Lowell and Evelyn Strauss (Tom) of Waterford; a sister in-law, Kimberly Van Wey (David) of Newport and several nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a son, Gerald White Jr; and two brothers, Francis Needs and Ralph Needs.

     Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with Evang. Zack Waite officiating. Burial will be in the Waterford Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Friday. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.mccurdyfh.com.
