Ruie L. Crawford

     Ruie L. Crawford, 90, of Beverly, Ohio, formerly of Lost Creek, WV, died on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at Appletree Homes in Beverly. She was born on April 6, 1932 in McWhorter, WV, daughter of Iven and Evvie Thompson Hardman. She graduated from Lost Creek High School in 1950. She was married on May 21, 1950 to Carter Crawford who died on July 24, 2005. She is survived by three daughters, Sandy Hayhurst and husband Walter “Buck” of Waterford, Ohio, Linda Prieto and husband Joe of Beverly, Ohio and Melanie Wilson and husband John of Morgantown, WV; five grandchildren, Michelle Gerber (Chris), Kristi Sams (Sam), Nicci Bragg (Derek), Joni Jones (Cory) and Mia Wilson; Seven great grandchildren, Ethan and Carter Brooker, Adam Sams, Sophie, Emma and Tyler Bragg and Addie Jones; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a brother, Hoye Hardman; two sisters, Thelma Kusak and Reva Spengler and an infant sister Hazel.
