Roy Gene Cunningham

     Roy Gene Cunningham, 78, of Waterford, Ohio, died on December 24, 2022 at his home. He was born on May 21, 1944 in Marietta, Ohio, son of Fred and Della Morey Cunningham. He graduated from Waterford high School in 1962 and received an Associate Degree in Business from Ohio State University in 1964. He had worked at Interlake Steel and Globe Metallurgical for 57 years before his retirement. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3665 in Beverly. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed tinkering with his farm tractors at his farm. He also loved his two dogs and three cats. He was married on June 17, 1995 to Beverly Ann Bower Cunningham who survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Kelly Cunningham of Waterford; three step-children, Robert Foreman of Waterford, Michael Foreman of Kentucky and Vicki Mellon and husband Chad of Zanesville; a special granddaughter, MaKayla Mellon and several other grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Leona Spears and an infant sister, Joy.
