Ronald D. Dearth, 78, of Beverly, Ohio, died on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at his home. He was born on December 31, 1943 in Marietta, Ohio, son of Ralph and Pauline Schenkel Dearth. He retired in 2001 from Dupont Washington Works in Parkersburg where he was a mechanic. He graduated from Fort Frye High School in 1961 and served in the US Air Force during Vietnam. He was married November 8, 1964 to Sheila Kay Cole Dearth who survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Michele Radcliff and husband Mark of Caldwell; a son, Rodney Dearth of Ravenswood, WV; three grandchildren, Tyler Radcliff and wife Jessie of Caldwell. Marissa Taranto and husband Joe of Devola and Reece Dearth of Charleston, WV; a great granddaughter, Reign Radcliff; a sister, Judith Rockwell of New Lexington, Ohio and a sister in-law, Sally Dearth of Wooster, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert Dearth; and a brother in-law, Norman Rockwell.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly. Burial will be in the Beverly Cemetery in Beverly. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Wednesday. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.mccurdyfh.com.
