Robert Eugene Allender, 86, of Beverly, passed away into the arms of Jesus on November 25, 2022. He was born on August 9, 1936 in Cambridge, Ohio, son of Ralph and Hazel Gibson Allender. He graduated from Cambridge High School in 1954 and attended Marietta College. He was married to Dixie Worth on July 9, 1957 and they had three daughters, Kim Hopkins (Bud), Jill skinner (Vernon) and Lisa Riley (Steve). Bob had been employed at Vanadium in Cambridge, Interlake Steel and Globe Metallurgical in Beverly. He was an antique dealer and collected and sold for many years, having several auctions. He loved playing golf and played for many years in and around Beverly and several larger courses, The Greenbrier being one of them. He also loved going to the beach with his family and they went every summer for years. In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by a brother, Craig Allender (Mary) of Greer S.C.; grandchildren, Tara Wetz (Evan), Brandon Skinner (Cassie), Wes Riley and Brayden Riley (Michelle); great granddaughters, Syd and Taytum Skinner. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Bill Allender (Janet). At his request he will be cremated with no services or visitation.
