Richard L. "Dick Danford

Richard L. "Dick" Danford, passed away on October 2, 2025 from Pancreatic Cancer. He was proceeded in death by his wife Julie of 42 years and Molly (his best friend). He leaves step-children Fonda Pitingoro (Michael), Lynn Milburn (Larry), and Teri Rinehard (Tim); and other relatives and friends. He worked for Danner Press of Akron and Canton for over 41 years. He was an Army Veteran of Vietnam and a 60 year member of American Legion Post 389 of Beverly and Waterford, Ohio. He was a member of Moose Lodge in Mogadore for 32 years. Dick was an avid motorcyclist his entire life even racing some pro events in his younger days.

A graveside service with Military Rites will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at the Waterford Cemetery with Pastor Beverly Pottmeyer officiating. McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly is in charge of the arrangements and online condolences may be made by visiting www.mccurdyfh.com.
