Reta J. Timko

     Reta J. Timko, 87 of Marietta, Ohio, died on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 6, 1935 in Spencer, WV, daughter of Willard R. and Mildred F. Parsons Anderson. Reta graduated from Waterford High School and later retired from Fort Frye High School as an assistant Librarian. She is survived by two sons, Kevin Timko and wife Dawn of Myrtle Beach, SC and Philip Timko and wife Julia of Barlow, Ohio; a granddaughter, Laurel Leonard and husband Bryce of Cary, NC; and a sister, Karen Frame and husband Ronald of Little Hocking, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Timko; two sisters, Betty Wagner and Barbara Best; and a brother, Donald Anderson.

     There will be a visitation for Reta on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 5-8 pm at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly. A private family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 1:00 pm at St. Bernard Cemetery in Beverly. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.mccurdyfh.com.
