Ralph E. Dailey, 78, of Mt. Gilead, Ohio, died on May 15, 2021 at Ohio State Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on March 26, 1943 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, son of Raymond S. and Daisy Belle Stumpf Dailey. He was a farmer and had worked for General Motors in Mansfield for many years. He served in the US Army and was a life member of American Vets #26, American Legion Post #750 at Lowell and VFW Post #2920. He was married on February 14, 1965 to Marilyn Ward Dailey who survives. Also surviving is a son, Phillip Daily and companion Patricia of Lowell; three grandchildren, Lucas, Parker and Emma; a brother, Ernest Dailey of Texas and a brother in-law, Clarence Ward of Coal Run. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Hazel Cornish and Lucille Jarvis; three brothers, Carl, Cecil and Roy Dale; and three infant children, Keith, Ken and Karla.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Greenlawn Cemetery in Lowell, Ohio. American Legion Post #750 at Lowell, will conduct the service. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.mccurdyfh.com.
