Patricia L. Thieman

     Patricia L. Thieman, 80, of Waterford, Ohio, died on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Summit Acres Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Caldwell, Ohio. She was born on February 10, 1942 in Bailey Mills, Ohio, daughter of Virgil and Goldie Stephens Starr. She had worked at Big Bear in the Deli Department for several years in Marietta. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church and the Catholic Womens Club and she always enjoyed playing cards and camping with the family. On June 16, 1962 she was married to Thomas Joseph Thieman who died on November 9, 2016. She is survived by six children, David Thieman and his son, Nicholas and his mother, Rebecca; Donovan (Sandy) Thieman and their children, Kelly (Brian) Moore and Keith Thieman; Denise (Dee) Thieman; Darrell (Gloria) Thieman and children, Derek (Kourtney) Thieman, Brooke and Bailey (Matthew) Singer; Darla Schafer and children, Kyle Oliver and his father, Guy Oliver Jr. and Seth Schafer and his father John; Darlene Thieman and children, Taylor and Zack Thieman and Jevin Pugh and his father, Dennis Pugh; six great grandchildren, Tyson, Cole and Kaelyn Moore, Keeley and Rhett Thieman and Kendon Thieman. She was preceded in death by her husband; Parents; five brothers and sisters, Vernon Starr, Ruth Moore, Carol Toohey, Lawrence Starr and Edith Starr.   

     A Funeral Mass for Patricia will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at St. John the Baptist Church in Churchtown with Father David Gaydosik officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Catholic Womens Club at St John the Baptist Church.
