Nancy Long Obituary

     Nancy L. Long, 84, of Beverly, Ohio, died on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Muskingum Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Beverly. She was born on December 23, 1937 in Point Pleasant WV, daughter of Aubrey Nibert and Clara Jane Bonecutter Nibert. She was a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3665 Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed singing, dancing and playing bingo. Her whole life was raising her family and grandchildren and they will miss her greatly. She is survived by six children, Teryl Work of Beverly, David Long (Teri) of Stockport, Jerry Long (Cheri) of Zanesville, Chris Long (Angie) of Hackney, Mark Long (Marla) of Beverly and Ricky Long of Beverly; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; three siblings, Meredith “Bub” Nibert of Waterford, Danny Nibert of WV and Rita Barker of WV. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Cheryl Long; sister, Donna Simers and a grandson, David long II.

     A visitation will be held for Nancy 2-6 pm on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly. Burial will be in the Wyoma Pentecostal Church Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Beverly-Waterford Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 45, Beverly, Ohio 45715. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.mccurdyfh.com.
