Myron “Mike/Bub” Nibert, 83, of Beverly Ohio died peacefully at his home on Thursday, April 2, 2026 surrounded by his loving and faithful family. He was born November 7th 1942 to the late Aubrey Nibert and Clara Jane Bonecutter. He attended Point Pleasant Schools in Mason County WV. Proudly he enlisted in the United States Army where he selflessly served in the Vietnam war and was awarded several medals of honor. He enjoyed spending his time camping, fishing, hunting, gardening, and tending to his flowers. The last three years he enjoyed living the simple lifestyle and tinkering on his daughter’s family compound. On May 23rd 1967 he married the love of his life Mary Ann Nibert. They cherished 54 years of marriage before her passing in 2021. He is survived by his daughter Patricia “Trish” Long (Donnie) of Beverly, sister-in-laws Virginia (Mark) Kenny, Dorothy “Dottie” Wills and Nancy Caldwell; grandchildren, Dakota, Montana, Tyler, Jesse, Crystal, Triana and their spouses, 18 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, daughter-in-laws Kathy Nibert and Yvette Nibert as well as many nieces and nephews and his grandpuppies Mac, Zoe, and Charlie. He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Donna Simmers, Nancy Long, Danny Nibert, Rita Barker; sons Floyd and Keith Nibert as well as his pride and joys Turbo and Lady. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with nephew David Long officiating. Burial will be in the Smith Chapel Cemetery with Military Services at the grave. Friends may call 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
