Mary Margaret Depuy, 78, of Beverly, Ohio, died on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta. Mary was born on April 30, 1947 in Bethel Township-Monroe County, Ohio, daughter of Paul Joseph and Lorene Gertrude Zwick Huffman. She graduated from Skyvue High School in 1965 and was a wonderful and loving homemaker to her family all her life. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and the St. Bernard Women’s Club in Beverly. Mary loved to cook and bake and also enjoyed gardening and tending to her flower gardens. She enjoyed watching her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events and other activities through the years and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. On December 2, 1967 she was married to Gerald C. Depuy who survives. She is also survived by three sons, Randy Depuy and wife Marissa of Caldwell, Rick Depuy and wife Kayla of Caldwell and Brent Depuy and wife Tami of Marietta; two daughters, Traci Stotts and husband Shane of Marietta and Tricia Gardner and husband Doug of Marietta; Sixteen grandchildren, Hanna Houston (Tyler), Katey Liston (Zeke), Easton Depuy, Aidan Stotts, Paige Stotts, Emma Gardner, Eli Gardner, Ean Gardner, Kolby Larrick, Caleb Larrick, Rowyin Depuy, Rutlee Depuy, Riley Depuy, Bruin Depuy, Myah Depuy and Torston Depuy; four brothers, Larry Huffman and wife Nora of Marietta, Robert Huffman and wife Barbara of Lowell, Father David Huffman of Little Hocking and Mark Huffman and wife Susan of Dresden; a sister, Christine Miller of Zanesville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, September 1, 2025 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Beverly with Father David Huffman and Father Tim Kozak officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Sunday at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly where a Rosary Service will be held at 7:30 pm.
