Martha Jean Zimmerman

     Martha Jean Zimmerman, 88, of Caldwell, Ohio, died on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 8, 1933 in Germantown, Ohio, daughter of John Vernon and Vandella Fay Lucas Camden. She graduated from Salem Liberty High School in 1950. She was a homemaker and loved cooking the Sunday dinner for her family. Jean also enjoyed crafts of all kinds. She was first married in 1951 to Gilbert Parks who died in 1962. She later married Delbert Zimmerman in 1966 and he died in 1992. She is survived by a daughter, Sally Ann Nichols of Waterford; two sons, John Parks (Diane) of Lower Salem and William Parks (Pawn) of Van Wert, Ohio; two step-sons, Dan Zimmerman of Devola and Robert Zimmerman (Connie) of Lincoln City, Indiana; a step-daughter, Crystal Danbula of Indianapolis, Indiana; a sister, Evelyn Walters of Marietta; 26 grandchildren; 33 great- grandchildren and 6 great- great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands; parents; a son, Thomas Parks; a daughter, Kathy Weinstock; two brothers, Wilbert Earl “Russ” Camden and Robert Camden; two grandsons, Travis Zimmerman and Jeremy Parks; and a great-granddaughter, Ava Nichols.

     Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with Chaplain Willie Hood officiating. Friends may call 11:00 am until 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.mccurdyfh.com
