Mabel I. Hill

     Mabel I. Hill, 79, of Beverly, died on Sunday, October20, 2024 at Muskingum Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on July 7, 1945 in Athens, Ohio, daughter of Wayne and Florence Lehoe Michael. She graduated from Athens High School in 1963 and had worked in the housekeeping department at Marietta College for many years. Mabel loved to crochet and especially loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and she will be missed by all her friends and family. On June 8 1963 she was married to David P. Hill who survives. Also surviving are three children, Patty Fluharty and husband Jeff of Jerusalem, Ohio, Sunny Ramage and husband Hank of Dexter City, Ohio and David Hill of Conway SC; three grandchildren, Amista, Devin and Samantha; four great grandchildren, Bently, Cayden, Dannilynn and Elijah; two sisters, Monna Slone and Wainette Tinkham both of Athens; and a sister in law, Carolyn Hoffman of Athens .Mabel was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Sharon, Sheila, Sandy and Melissa; and two brothers in law, Larry and Dan Hill.

     A visitation for Mabel will be held from 4-8 pm on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly. Burial will be in the Watertown Cemetery. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.mccurdyfh.com.
