Lucille Marie Lang Henry, 79, of Waterford, OH was called to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at her home surrounded by family.
Born on Dec. 14, 1942 at Lowell, OH daughter of Charles Lang and Frances Brooker Lang. Lucille attended Lowell and Fort Frye High School receiving her GED in 1972 after attending night school. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and St. Bernard CWC. She held the offices of treasurer and secretary at different times and taught kindergarten Catechism for six years.
She married Gale Eugene Henry on Aug. 3, 1959. Lucille and her husband enjoyed traveling, NASCAR races, visiting with cousins, friends, and family. She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, working in the yard, as well as, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren in all their school and sports activities. She was a great fan of the Waterford Wildcats.
She is survived by her husband and three children, Cindy(Kevin) Sams of Beverly, Allan Henry of Waterford, and Craig (Marta) Henry of Wesley Chapel, FL; five grandchildren, Shana Griffin (Beau) of Devola, Shelby Wagner (David) of Belpre, Pedro Henry of Wesley Chapel, FL, Juan Henry of Gaithersburg, MD, and Vanessa Henry of Melbourne, FL; two great grandchildren, Brody Griffin and Olive Wagner; two sisters, Linda Baumgard of Marietta and Bernadette Huck (Gene) of Pataskala, OH; sisters-in-law, Elaine Lang, Jackie Lang, Judy Lang, Nancy Henry, Rosemary Henry; brothers-in-law, Dean Henry, Gerald Miller, Gene Huck, Marion Barton; many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Helen Clare Wilson, Irene Barton, Jane Hall Callihan, Norma Miller, Jake Lang, Walter Lang, Martin Lang; sisters-in-law, Diana Lang and Barb Henry; brothers-in-law, Mel Baumgard, Bernard Wilson, Dean Hall, Dick Callihan; and great grandson, Brock Griffin.
Friends may call from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday Nov. 5, 2022 at St. Bernard Church Hall. Funeral Mass will immediately follow at St. Bernard Church.
