Louis W. Arnold

     Louis W. Arnold, 82, of Waterford, Ohio, died on Monday, April 20, 2020 at Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville, Ohio. He was born on October 17, 1937 in Churchtown, son of Francis and Mary Luella Green Arnold. Louis was a graduate of Waterford High School and had been employed at Globe Metallurgical. He was a farmer and owned Belgian Draft horses and enjoyed showing them at fairs. He was a member of St. Bernard’s and St. John’s Catholic Churches.

     He was married on May 14, 1960 to Donna Lyon Arnold who survives. He is also survived by two sons, Brian (Andrea) Arnold of Summerville, South Carolina and Brett (Carla) Arnold of Waterford; a daughter, Mona (David) Arnold of Belpre; five grandchildren, Samantha Arnold, Frank Arnold, Constance Schultz, Bart Arnold and Audra Spaulding; three great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Elijah and Ophelia; three sisters, Rita Schwendeman, Maxine Stewart and Gladys Saling; a sister in law, Mary Anna Arnold and special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Bart Arnold; three brothers, Ermine, Orvin and Leland Arnold; two sisters, Katharine Schwendeman and Imogene Buchicchio.        

     The family of Louis would like to thank Highland Oaks Health Center for the excellent care, kindness and compassion while Louis was a resident there. Special thanks to a special friend Tracy for all of her help and love.
