Lorne B. "Redbone" Shields

     Lorne B. “Redbone” Shields, 61, of Coal Run, died on Monday, September 23, 2024 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 11, 1963 in Beverly, Ohio, son of Roy L. and Helen R. DeLong Shields. Lorne graduated from Fort Frye High School in 1982 and he loved Farmall and Massey Ferguson tractors, Derbys, fishing, 4 Wheelers and tractor pulls and being with friends and family. He is survived by a brother, Hank DeLong (Mary); two sisters, Zanetta Shields and Sonoma Suttle; his fur babies, Tink and Fuzz; many nieces and nephews; a special friend, Sue Silcox and her kids, John Anderson, Austin Davis and Autumn Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents and two nieces.
