Loretta Cecilia Murphy

     Loretta Cecilia Murphy, 81, of Beverly, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Highland Oaks in McConnelsville. She was born on January 9, 1943 in Sumner, Ohio at the home of her late grandparents, Oris and Lucy Gaul where she was raised and made her home for many years. She graduated from Eastern High School, class of 1961 and West Virginia School of Banking at Marshall and had been a longtime member of the Harrisville Eastern Star #255. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Bostic and her husband John of Beverly; a brother, Roger Gaul; special nephews, Jay Gaul and Mark Murphy and several other nieces and nephews; and her fur baby, Buster. In addition to her parents, L. Cecil Gaul and Barbara Weber Gaul Sargent, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Murphy; a brother, Rodney Gaul and fur babies, Winston and Jessie.

     Due to Loretta and Ed’s request, the family will have a private graveside service for family and close friends at Maplewood Cemetery in Glouster, Ohio at a later date at the convenience of the family.
