Lawrence E. "Larry" Gossett

     Lawrence E. “Larry” Gossett Jr., 72, of Waterford, Ohio, died on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born June 29, 1948 in Marietta, Ohio, son of Lawrence Gossett Sr. and Marian A. Abbott Gossett.  He graduated from Waterford High School in 1966 and had been a truck driver for many years. Larry enjoyed working on classic cars, lawnmowers and watches. He was married on May 24, 1968 to Kathy E. Deaver Gossett who survives. Also surviving are three children, Ed Gossett of Beverly, Misty Gossett of McConnelsville and Michael Gossett of Waterford; three grandchildren, Kayla Koehnle, Shelby Gossett and Elaine Koehnle; six great grandchildren, Lillian, Ryker, Gabryella, Xavier, Haven and Jaxon. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister Illa Gossett.

     A visitation will be held on Friday at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly from 5 pm until 8 pm. Burial will be in the Waterford Cemetery.  We ask that social distancing and a mask be observed. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.mccurdyfh.com.
