Joyce O. Birch

     Joyce O. Birch, 91, of Marietta, Ohio, formerly of Waterford, died on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Waterview Pointe in Marietta. She was born on December 13, 1932 in Racine, Ohio, daughter of Frank and Cora Sayre Wallace. She graduated from Racine High School and had been the manager of the Christian Book Store in Beverly for many years. Joyce was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Beverly and was active in several church activities, including teaching. On December 28, 1951 she was married to Thomas E. Birch who died on November 26, 2009. She is survived by a son, Randy Birch and wife Ginny of Stone Creek, Ohio; a son in law, George Roe of McConnelsville, Ohio; five grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Paula Roe.

     A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 14, 2024 at St. Bernard Church in Beverly with Father Tim Kozak officiating. The burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
