Jessie A. King

     Jessie A. King, 92, of Marietta, formerly of Lowell, died on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 4, 1931 in Lowell, Ohio, daughter of Frederick and Margaret Kuhn Rubrake. Jessie graduated from Lowell High School in 1950 and had a wonderful doll collection at her home in Lowell. On September 29, 1964 she was married to Albert L. King who died on September 17, 2013. She is survived by a son, Mark King of Cypress, Texas ; a granddaughter, Lauren King; two sisters, Hazel Ward and Susie Gessel and a brother, John Rubrake (Liz). She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Lynn Williams; and a sister, Florence Peters.

     Jessie will be buried in Green Lawn Cemetery in Lowell at a later date at the convenience of the family. McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly handled the arrangements and online condolences may be made by visiting www.mccurdyfh.com.
