Jerry A. Wilson, 90, of Beverly, Ohio, died on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Muskingum Skilled Nursing and Rehab. in Beverly. Jerry was born on June 9, 1935 in Marietta, Ohio, son of Denver E. and Helen E. Heckman Wilson. At a very early age his parents moved to Pittsburgh, Pa. where his dad found work with the Steel Mill. Jerry graduated from Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh and after graduation he moved to Scappoose, Oregon to work on his uncle Mark’s Christmas Tree Farm. He then enrolled at Oregon State University getting a degree in Landscape Architecture. After a tour of Duty in the Army he went to work for the US Forest Service. He stayed in Baker City, Oregon until his retirement then moved back to Beverly, Ohio. He was a Pittsburgh Steeler and Pirate fan and also an Oregon State Beaver’s fan. Jerry is survived by several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; two aunts, Madeline Wilson and Adelaide Hill; and an uncle, Marcus Heckman. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Beverly with Father Tim Kozak officiating. Burial will be in the St. Bernard Cemetery with Military Services at the grave. Friends may call 10:00 am until 10:45 am on Wednesday at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly.
