Jeconda Louise Pennock

     Jeconda Louise Pennock, 67, of Beverly, Ohio, died Friday, July 5, 2019 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on June 19, 1952 in Grundy, Virginia, daughter of Edgar and Winnie “Gay” Childress Branham. She graduated from Fort Frye High School in 1970. She was retired from the Interior Design Business after many years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 389 at Beverly, former Central Republican committee member, former chairman of the Morgan County Central Committee, former member of Morgan County Board of Elections and had worked on several political campaigns.

     She was married on July 10, 1976 to Daniel Pennock who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Rachael Brister (Roger) of Beverly and Dr. Tiffany Arnold (Nick) of Athens; five grandchildren, Gavin Brister, Maxwell Brister, Abigail Brister, Alden Laipply and Jude Laipply; three brothers, Michael “Bo” Branham (Erica), Edgar “Bay” Branham (Beth), Greg Branham (Kim); four sisters, Pam Jackson (Mike), Cindy Snyder (Rik), Vicki Smith and Kathy Nibert (Floyd) all of Waterford; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; her mother in-law, Mary Lou Pennock of Beverly; sisters in-law, Debra Pennock, Diane Henry and Dixie Hart (Davy); and a brother in-law Donald Pennock (Kathy). She was preceded in death by her parents; father in-law, Francis W. Pennock; and a brother in-law, Denny Smith.

     A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Smith Chapel Cemetery with Evang. Zack Waite officiating. There will no visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Center Township Volunteer Fire Dept. 1405 St. Rt. 83, Beverly, Ohio 45750. McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly is in charge of arrangements.
