Jane L. Martin

     Jane L. Martin, 88, of Beverly, Ohio, died on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Heartland of Marietta. She was born on May 2, 1933 in Coal Run, Ohio, daughter of Clyde A. and Doris F. Fenn Corner. Jane graduated from Beverly High School in 1951 and Ohio Wesleyan College in 1955. She was a retired school teacher and spent most of her career teaching school in northern Ohio. She was a member of the Beverly United Church. She was married on December 23, 1956 to Richard A. Martin who died on October 10, 1994. She is survived by a son Grant Martin and wife Cindy and a daughter, Gail Martin; three grandchildren, Bradley Martin (Jo), Kayla Escribano (Cris) and Scott Ormston; and four great grandchildren, Isabella, Sophia, Alexander and Jayden. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and a grandson, Lee Ormston.

     Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with Steve Wainwright officiating. Burial will be in the Beverly Cemetery. Friends may call 10:00 am until 1:00 pm on Tuesday. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.mccurdyfh.com.
