James William Bryan Jarvis, 49, of Waterford, Ohio, died on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus. He was born on October 8, 1970 in Parkersburg, WV, son of James Michael Jarvis and Karen Sue Vincent Jarvis. He had been employed by the Village of Beverly as a Waste Water Treatment Operator. He graduated from Federal Hocking High School and received an Associate Degree at Washington State Community College. Bryan had been a former member of the Beverly Volunteer Fire Department for several years and had coached youth softball, baseball, T Ball and soccer. He also assisted coaching Track and Cross Country.
He was married on April 29, 2008 to Margaret Baker Jarvis who survives. He is also survived by four daughters, Cierra Jarvis, Tiffany Haines (Stefan), Mercedes Jarvis and Karen Autum Nicole Jarvis; two grandchildren, Oliver and Katelyn Haines; his parents, James and Karen Jarvis; three brothers, Phillip Michael Jarvis, Richard David Dearth, Timothy Aaron Jarvis and a sister, Arianna Nicholle Raine Jarvis (Bernie Blankenship); twelve aunts and uncles . He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Russell Phillip Vincent Ist. and Estella June Hoselton Vincent and Hartsel H. and Avenell Jarvis; and seven aunts and uncles.
A visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with a service to follow at 8:00 pm.
