Ivan L. Clark

     Ivan L. Clark, 89, of Waterford, Ohio, died on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. He was born on February 7, 1934 in Morgan County, Ohio, son of Charles and Deette Stewart Clark. Ivan had worked at Interlake Steel and Globe Metalurgical for 31 years before his retirement. He served in the US Army during the Korean War from 1953 until 1956 and was a member and Past Commander of American Legion Post #389 at Beverly and member of the Lowell Moose Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and one heck of a square dance caller. Ivan was married on February 23, 1957 to Phyllis J. King Clark who died on October 11, 1992. He is survived by three sons, Ivan Clark Jr. (Ann) of Boardman, Ohio, Michael Clark (Jackie) of Beverly and David Clark (Candy) of Waterford; his longtime companion, Betty Landaker of Waterford; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
