Ivan J. Arnold

     Ivan J. Arnold, 51, of Waterford, Ohio, died on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 30, 1970 in Marietta, Ohio, son of Joseph R. and Linda Lou Grahame Arnold. He graduated from Waterford high School in 1988 and worked for Skinner Firestone in Beverly for 34 years. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Fraternal Order of Eagles #3665 and the Knights of Columbus. He was married on September 15, 2018 to Anna M. Sumpter Arnold who survives. Also surviving are two step sons, Thomas Lee Balderson of Michigan and Colton Ryan Balderson of Waterford; two step grandchildren, Abacus and Marley; two brothers, Henry Arnold of Beverly and Norman Arnold of Waterford; two sisters, Becky Allen (Billy) of Marietta and Nancy Lang (Gary) of Watertown; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Patrick Arnold.

    Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, May 6, 2022 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Beverly with Father Tim Kozak officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery with a Sons of American Legion service at the grave. Friends may call 4-8 pm on Thursday at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly.
