Helen M. Needs

     Helen M. Needs, 90, of Beverly, formerly of Waterford, died on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Muskingum Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Beverly. She was born on December 5, 1931 in Newport, Ohio, daughter of Harold and Mabel Brown Smith. She graduated from Marietta High School in 1949. Helen attended the Beverly United Methodist Church in Beverly and loved working in her flower beds and playing bingo. She was married on November 23, 1949 to Max Turrill who died on November 10, 1971. She was later married on April 22, 1978 to Francis Needs who died on July 21, 2004. She is survived by a daughter, Tamara Brookhart and husband Andy of Waterford; and a son, Gary Turrill and wife Susan of Flora, Indiana; two step sons, Ray Needs of Waterford and Wayne Needs of Texas; fourteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands; parents; a son, Terry Dean Turrill; two sisters, Sue Simek and Joan Toliver; and a brother, James Smith.

     Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with Evang. Rich Lemal officiating. Burial will be in the Waterford Cemetery.
