Helen Louise Huck

     Helen Louise Huck, 83, of Waterford, Ohio passed away at Marietta Memorial Hospital on Sunday, September 8, 2019. She was born on May 1, 1936 in Lowell, to the late Walter W. and Thelma L. Statts Schimmel of Lowell, Ohio. She graduated from Lowell High School in 1954. She married Joseph L. Huck on October 25, 1955. She worked for Joe Huck Contractor Inc. as a secretary for 41 years. She was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. Her greatest joy was her family and her little dog, Nugget. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Joseph Huck. She is survived by two sisters, Ruth Bohl (Harold) of Lowell, Ohio and Mary Lou Moore (Burl) of Belpre, Ohio; three children, Wanda Kiggans (Alan) of Hillsboro, Missouri, Rodney Huck (Kim) of Waterford, Ohio and Calvin Huck (Tracey) of Waterford, Ohio; six grandchildren, Kelly Taylor (Brad), Terri Huck, Traci Hansel (Nick), Scott Huck (Connie), Lance Kiggans, and Tyler Smith (Hannah); and four great grandchildren, Liam, Ethan, Levi and Claire.

     Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with Father Timothy Kozak officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Wednesday. The family would like to thank Dr. Lloyd Dennis and Marietta Home Health and Hospice for their wonderful care.
