Gregory Lee King

     Gregory Lee King, 61, of Belpre, Ohio, died on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at his home. He was born May 13, 1958 in Marietta, Ohio, son of Delbert L. King and Brenda G. Zumbro Brown. He graduated from Waterford High School in 1976. He had been a floral designer for Obermeyer’s Florist in Parkersburg for several years and been a manager of Hardees in Belpre. He was an avid sports fan, especially for the Waterford Wildcats, Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds.

     He is survived by his father, Delbert King of Hackney; His mother, Brenda Brown (Paul) of Waterford; Five siblings, Kem King (Elaine) of Little Hocking, Robin Sampson of Beverly, Benny King (Katy) of Waterford, Trent King (Linda) of Waterford and Scott King (Angie) of Beverly; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Jeremy Offenberger.

     A visitation will be 6-8 pm on Tuesday at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly. A family burial will be held in Dale Cemetery at a later date. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.mccurdyfh.com.
