Fern H. Reed

Fern H. Reed passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Harmar Place Rehabilitation and Extended Care in Marietta at age 94. She was born in Pike County, Kentucky April 7, 1920. She was preceded in death by her husband Alva; 2 sons, Ernest and Eddie; parents, James and Peggy Dotson; 3 sisters, Myrtle, Betty and Bonnie; 4 brothers, Robert, Dewey, Henry and Emerald; She is survived by a sister, Almy; 2 brothers, Jessie and Alva; 3 sons, Kenneth and wife Marie, John and wife Pam and Robert; She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; 2 daughters in-law, Sharon and Mitchie. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with Pastor John Harra officiating. Burial will be East Lawn Memorial Park in Marietta.
