Edna Jean "Jeanie" Baker, 87, of Coal Run, Ohio, died on Friday, July 6, 2018 at her home. She was born May 20, 1931 in Morgan County, Ohio, daughter of Charles and Deette Stewart Clark. She was a homemaker and a member of the Dungannon United Methodist Church. She was married on October 7, 1948 to Robert Clay Baker who died on April 15, 2008. She is survived by three sons, Steve Baker (Candy) , Bill Baker (Susie) and Brian Baker, all of Beverly; four daughters, Sandy Baker of Coal Run, Cindy Angle of Waterford, Debbie Tennant of Myrtle Beach, SC and Susan Baker of Coal Run; a Son in-law, Tim Lockhart of Beverly; 25 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Ivan Clark (Betty) of Waterford and Jerry Clark (Sandy) of Dexter City; three sisters, Wanda Slater of Dexter City, Donna Porter (Jim) of Caldwell and Nancy Baker (Neil) of Beverly. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a daughter, Sharon Lockhart; two brothers, Eldon and Darrel Clark; two sons in-law, Wilbur Angle and Bernie Tennant.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with Pastor Jim Porter officiating. Burial will be in Smith Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Monday. Donations may be made to the Dungannon United Methodist Church or Marietta Home Health and Hospice.
