Dorothy Annie Biedenbach

     Dorothy Annie Starling Biedenbach, 89, of Marietta, Ohio, formerly of Beverly, died Friday, August 20, 2021 at the Arbors at Marietta. She was born on April 2, 1932 in Morgan County, Ohio, daughter of John and Dora Ellis Starling. Dorothy graduated from Pennsville High School in 1949 and had worked in the retail business for many years in the area mostly at Meacham’s in Beverly. She enjoyed her family very much and loved camping, playing cards and raising flowers. On April 23, 1955 she was married to Robert A. Biedenbach who died August 19, 2016. She is survived by a son, Larry Biedenbach and wife Kathy of Beverly and a daughter, Roberta Thieman of Marietta; two grandchildren, Brent Biedenbach of Marietta and Amy Starnes and husband Robert of Marietta; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two sisters, Gladys Drake and Bessie Seevers; and two brothers, Ray Ellis and Frank Starling.

     A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Smith Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Karl Kesselring officiating. McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly is in charge of the arrangements. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.mccurdyfh.com.
