Donnie Wells

     Donnie Wells, 64, of Beverly, died on Monday, July 29, 2024 at his home. He was born on February 13, 1960 in Marietta, Ohio, son of Marion E. and Shirley Miller Wells. Donnie graduated from Fort Frye High School in 1978 and attended the Washington County Vocational School. He had been a self- employed landscaper in the area for several years. He was a member of the Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge # 37 F&AM and was a Christian by faith. He enjoyed tinkering with cars, tractors and trucks and especially enjoyed back roading.  He is survived by a son, Adam Wells; six brothers, Tom Wells and Elaine of Marietta, Roger Wells and Peggy of Waterford, Billy Wells and Marilyn of Lowell, Robert Wells of Veto, Kevin Wells and Donna of Marietta and Mark Wells of Beverly; a sister, LeeAnn Offenberger and Derick of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

     A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Mt. Olive Cemetery near Beverly with Evang. Rich Lemal officiating. McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly is in charge of the arrangements and online condolences may be made by visiting www.mccurdyfh.com.
