Dolores J. "Sis" Martin

     Dolores J. “Sis” Martin, 87, of Stockport, Ohio, died on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Riverside Landing in McConnelsville, Ohio. She was born on November 12, 1935 in Sanoma County, WV, daughter of Orville and Edna Eagle Buffington. She was a homemaker, a Christian by faith and enjoyed her family and many friends. She was married on March 2, 1951 to Lyle P. Martin Sr. who died on May 9, 2017. She is survived by two sons, Lyle Martin Jr. and wife Lois of Vincent and Timothy Martin and wife Carol of Stockport; two daughters, Jeanne Long and husband Eugene of Stockport and Peggy Jo Vandine and husband Mike of Stockport; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; two brothers, Jim and Dave Buffington and a sister, Darlene Cottril; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a son, Larry Martin; daughter, Carolyn Sue Reynolds Smith; grandson, Joey Martin; four brothers, Bob, Gary, Ronald and Darrel Buffington; and two sisters, Carol Cline and Alma Cline.
