Diane L. Arnold

     Diane L Arnold, 62, of Vincent, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, June 13, 2021. She was born on May 2, 1959 in Marietta, Ohio, daughter of Eleanor A. Maze Smith and the late Glen O. Miller. Diane was a 1977 graduate of Waterford High School. She was employed by The Bureau of Public Dept prior to raising her family. She was later employed by the Wolf Creek School District in which she served as a cook and librarian before retiring. . She was member of St. John the Baptist Church and volunteered as a Sunday school teacher. She always enjoyed going to Myrtle Beach and the Columbus Zoo. She was kind, generous, fun loving and always had a smile on her face. She will be missed by her family and many friends. She was married on August 11, 1984 to Alvin Arnold who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Ashley Dill (Matt) of New Albany, Ohio and Lindsey Arnold of New Albany, Ohio; a son Eric Arnold of Vincent; her mother, Eleanor Smith of Watertown; a brother Dave Miller (Michelle) of Devola; a sister Amy Gaston (Brian) of Lewis Center, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.

     A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at the Watertown Cemetery with Father David Gaydosik officiating. Friends may call 5-8 pm on Wednesday at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly. Donations may be made to Marietta Home Health and Hospice, 27855 St. Rt. 7, Marietta, Ohio 45750.
