Devin Alexander Carpenter

     Devin Alexander Carpenter, 29, of Caldwell, Ohio died on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Lower Salem, Ohio. He was born on July 16, 1993 in Marietta, son of Brian Carpenter and Renee Sargent. Devin graduated from Fort Frye High School and Washington County Career Center and had been employed at Caldwell Exempted Village School District as a bus mechanic. He was very talented and enjoyed working on anything, especially cars and vehicles. He loved his family and hanging out with his many friends. On June 16, 2018 he was married to Andrea Watkins Carpenter who survives. Also surviving are four children, Raelyn Stevens, Jacey Plauger, Taylor Carpenter and Sawyer Carpenter all of Caldwell; his mother, Renee Sargent of Caldwell and his father, Brian Carpenter of North Carolina; five brothers and sisters, Brady Carpenter (Jordyn Hendershot) of Watertown, McKenna Carpenter of North Carolina, Madeline Kitts (Gabe McGowen) of Beverly, Sydney Carpenter of North Carolina and David Kitts (Morgan Beaver) of Marietta; several nieces and nephews and other family members and his paternal grandparents, Larry Carpenter, of Marietta and Patricia Carpenter (Don Sprague) of Marietta; maternal grandparents, Michael Sargent of Layman and Sharon Sargent of Barlow.

     Funeral services for Devin will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with Steve Wainwright officiating with burial in Center Cemetery near Waterford.
