Denise Elaine Moore

     Denise Elaine Moore, 66, of Waterford, Ohio, died on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 27, 1958 in Shinnston, WV, daughter of John and Nora Powell Hyde. She graduated from Wallace High School in Wallace, WV and had been a nurses aid at several nursing homes in the area for several years. She was married on October 26, 2001 to Larry E. Moore who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Kenneth Root and wife Michele of Luke Chute and Anthony Root and wife Heather of Beverly; Siblings, Danny Hyde and wife Barbara, Devan Hyde and wife Becky, Deena Hyde and Darren Hyde and wife Dana all of Clarksburg, WV; seven grandchildren, Christi Horrell, Bradley Pugh, Josh Wright, Blake America, Travis Root, Ethan Root and Kenny Root Jr.; four great grandchildren, Joanna, William, Ledger and Rayna; close family friends, Alan and Kelly Duskey and family, Melaine Lewis, Kevin and Tammy Reynolds and family and Dean Arnold. Denise was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jamie Root; three sisters, Diane Upton, Debbie Stout and Dawn Clevenger; and two brothers, Mickey Hyde and Dana Hyde.
