David R. Potts

     David R. Potts, 68, of Beverly, Ohio, died on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at his home. He was born January 22, 1953 in Newark, Ohio, son of Charles Donald and Mary Edna Elliott Potts. Dave attended Morgan High School and Washington State Community College. He had worked at Interlake Steel, Forma Scientific and had been self- employed for several years. He also taught a HVAC course at Washington State Community College. He was a Presbyterian by faith, loved wood working, riding his lawn mower and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes. He was married September 1, 1978 to Jewel Quimby Potts who survives. Also surviving are two sons, David Potts and wife Jessica of Watertown and Jesse Potts of Beverly; three grandchildren, Aliyah ( his favorite) and Greyson and Rowyn ( Pa Paws little buddies); a sister, Pam Potts Cox and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Shirley Avers, Judy Laferty and Betty Dodson.
