David P. Hill

     David P. Hill, 84, of Beverly, Ohio, died on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Muskingum Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Beverly. He was born on July 6, 1940 in Athens Ohio, son of Alonzo and Edith Pryor Hill. He graduated from Chauncey high School and had served in the US Air Force. David had worked at Interlake Steel for many years and later retired from Marietta College as an electrician. He was married on June 8, 1963 to Mabel I. Michael Hill who died on October 20, 2024. He is survived by two daughters, Patty Fluharty and husband Jeff of Jerusalem, Ohio and Sunny Ramage and husband Hank of Dexter City, Ohio; a son, David E. Hill of Conway, South Carolina; three grandchildren, Amista, Devin and Samantha; four great grandchildren, Bently, Cayden, Dannilynn and Elijah; and a sister, Carolyn Hoffman of Athens, Ohio. David was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and two brothers, Larry and Dan Hill. There will be no services or visitation and he will be buried in the Watertown Cemetery.
