David R. Bidwell Sr.

David R. Bidwell Sr., 90, of Waterford, Ohio, died on Friday, December 19, 2025 at his home. He was born on February 28, 1935 in Conneaut, Ohio, son of Russell and Cathryn Bidwell. After High School he served in the US Army and later became a Lineman for the Conneaut Phone Company and later as a supervisor. On November 30, 1957 he was married to Barbara Raistrick who died on November 21, 2018. He is survived by a daughter, Darlene Harvey and husband Gary of Waterford and a son, David Bidwell Jr. and wife Roberta of East Springfield, PA. There will be no services at this time. McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly is in charge of the arrangements.
