Daniel R. Sampson

     Daniel R. Sampson, 56, of Beverly, Ohio, died on Tuesday, November 26, 2924 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 11, 1968 in Marietta, Ohio, son of Harold “Dickie” Sampson and Wanda Lee Troxell Sampson. Daniel graduated from Waterford high School in 1986 and had worked for Tom Mayle and Sons for over 25 years. He was a member of the Carpenters Union, Sons of American Legion Post #750 at Lowell and the Lowell Moose Lodge # 2382. He was a very giving person who would do anything for anyone for any reason. Daniel is survived by four children, Cody Sampson, Colton Sampson and fiancée  Kelsie, Kelsey Sampson (Christopher Spiker), and Skylan Sampson (Chelsie); six grandchildren, Thorin, Brayson, Cataleia, Kruze, Finley, and Styles; four brothers, Troy Sampson (Melissa) Jeff Barker (Darla),Michael Sampson and Shane Sampson (Brenda); a sister, Terri Sutton; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, William Barker and his mother and father in-law, Big Jim and Fanning Starling.

     Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 2, 2024 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with Pastor Rob Tuttle officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery in Lowell. Friends may call 9 am until 11:00 am on Monday at the Funeral Home.
